RÜFÜS DU SOL have emerged as one of the world’s preeminent live electronic acts. The Australian three-piece, comprised of members Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt, have released two platinum-certified albums, ATLAS and Bloom, with their newly unveiled third album Solace ushering in a new chapter for the trio.

Solace finds RÜFÜS DU SOL charting new territory, exploring deeper subgenres and more potent lyricism for an entirely new side to the group. “It’s about finding a sense of hope in a darker time,” the trio says. The album was born out of a particularly poignant period for the band and thus trackles heavier themes such as the pain of loss and the persistence of memory.

“We’ve been through a big process,” the group says. “Almost a year and a half of our lives. We put all our hearts into making this record.”

Accompanying the album, the trio have created a brand new live show which will push their on-stage abilities to new levels. Bringing a host of new analog gear into the fold, as well as a revamped visual setup, the new live show will bring the magical spontaneity of the group’s studio process to the stage in unprecedented format.

Directions to Avila Beach Resort – Highway 101 to Avila Beach (just north of Pismo Beach, just south of San Luis Obispo). Take the Avila Beach Drive exit towards the ocean. Travel 2 ½ miles and you’ll see the Resort on your right.

Doors are at 5PM. Curfew is 10PM.

Event Parking on the 10^th Fairway. Parking fee included in your ticket price. No tailgating allowed. Any attendees consuming personal alcoholic beverages in the Parking Areas will not be allowed into the venue.

There will be food and beverage for sale at the venue. No outside food or beverages will be allowed in the venue. Sealed plastic water bottles will be allowed. There will be water for available for free and bottled water available for purchase. No ice chests, picnic baskets, etc.

All purses, bags, and backpacks are subject to search. Management is not responsible for any confiscated items. Management reserves the right to restrict any items deemed dangerous or a possible interruption to the concert.

This is a General Admission show.

No one will be allowed into the venue prior to doors. Early comers will wait in line.

No in and outs. That means, once you’re in the venue, you can’t leave and return again for free. If you need anything else during the day (diapers, medication, jacket), bring them into the venue.

No pets. Please do not bring your pet and leave them in the car.
